I took the all electric Zero Motorcycle out for a test ride from Triumph Motorcycles on Morena Blvd, into Coronado and back to my home in Santee. Total miles:
It was very easy to manuever due to it’s light weight and because you can plug it into your wall at home to charge it, convenience is also a key factor. You’ll want to make sure that you plug it in everyday if you plan on making it your commuter vehicle because at best you’ll get 15o miles out of each charge. Note that you can add an extra battery in the empty compartment to gain another 50 miles but I would rather keep that for storage.
It’s not built for long distance and I would personally extend the mirrors for safety but that’s an easy fix.
Overall, I recommend this bike for commuting to work or school.
